Ah @norikochicago , a meticulous, underground beauty. Once the home to storage boxes, equipment, and a kayak, has now grown to an elevated, intimate space serving beautifully crafted dishes prepared directly in front of you at their handroll bar.
The same precision that is used to make these handrolls is infused into the design of this gorgeous space. Thanks to the creative direction of owner Alvin, and chefs Billy and Rhan, they have all proved that you can make something extraordinary out of anything.
The true innovation at Noriko is their 3 station set up. This unique system keep the orders moving smoothly while giving customers an opportunity to interact with the chefs. Stations 1 and 3 focus on preparing the main courses while station 2 works on small bites and starters. Once the first few courses end, station 2 is relieved to support the other stations with the mains, keeping the flow of courses simple, efficient, and timely.
